Nike Expands Its Mind Series With the Mind 002 AMP “Black”

Nike’s Mind line continues to expand in Fall 2026 with the introduction of the Nike Mind 002 AMP “Black,” a new lifestyle-driven model that brings a fresh look to the growing Mind series.

The Mind 002 AMP keeps the line’s futuristic direction intact while shifting into a more covered, sneaker-style build. The pair arrives in a mostly black upper, combining a perforated shell with padded sections, a sculpted midsole, and a podded outsole setup. The design is finished with metallic mini Swoosh branding on the side, silver lace hardware, and small chrome-style “Nike Mind” badges at the heel.

While the base is kept dark, the shoe adds a multiverse-like mix of color through its accents. Pink and purple gradient detailing appears around the collar and eyestay, while bright red hits land on the heel pull tab and outsole pods. Blue detailing also appears underfoot and around the heel, giving the otherwise blacked-out pair a layered, sci-fi feel.

The outsole is one of the most distinct elements of the Nike Mind 002 AMP. Rather than using a traditional rubber traction layout, the model features raised circular pods underfoot, giving it a look that sits somewhere between lifestyle experimentation and Nike’s ongoing comfort-focused design language.

The Nike Mind 002 AMP “Black” is expected to release during the Fall 2026 season. The pair will arrive alongside the Nike Mind AMP Slide, which is also expected to release during the same window.
