Available Now // This New React Element 55 Channels the OG Black and White 87

The Nike React series has seemingly come full circle, with this next-up 55 harkening back to one of the original colorways that kicked-off the Elemental craze; this Black/White makeup that mimics the OG React Element 87. Of course, the 55 takedown model doesn’t arrive with the translucent detail and luxurious finishes found on the OG 87, but it does arrive with a market-friendly pricepoint and color combo that will please just about everybody This edition pairs a smokey grey upper, woven in a new circular weave that’s been seen on only a handful of recent offerings. Black nubuck tongues and overlays add a Winterish touch, while bold strokes of white on the branding his and sole unit offer up the pair’s biggest pops of contrast. Capping off the design is more black, arriving on the sole plugs, heel clip, heel pulls and liners.
