Nike’s React Element 55may not have reached the same level of clout that it’s big bro, the React Element 87 has, but it’s sure found its feet of late, and it’s mostly due to the flurry of freakishly good colorways that have hit the silhouette of late. And here’s — as DJ Khaled would say proudly — another one.

Taking on a Tarheel’s theme of Uni Blue and Navy, this Nike React Element 55 couldn’t be more timely, with an onslaught of UNC-flavored colorways set to arrive in time for All-Star weekend in Charlotte, NC next month.

For this release, the shoe’s textile upper takes on navy blue as its base, while colorful accents arrive via Carolina blue Swooshes and detailing that rides the lacing system. A white React midsole plugged with navy hits completes the design.
