After a slew of wild prints, patterns, and over-branding, It’s good to see Nike’s React Element 55 go back to basics. We are of course talking about the likes of the recent Kenrick Lamar dropand the upcoming Scematic Pack — but while those releases have considerable hype, you just can’t beat simplicity. This next-up women’s-exclusive does just that — simplicity — and does it extremely well. Utilizing an oiled grey base pairs with matching overlays, tongues, heel pulls and sole unit, leaving pops of contrast for just two colors: copper and barely-there pink. The former graces the profile Swooshes, branding hits, laces and exposed stitching, while the latter is plugged into the outsole to complete the design.
