Not only is Nike continuing to add more new additions to their ever-growing React Element 55 lineup, but they’re adding new material makeups into the mix, too. Following on from the heavy-duty mesh and suede uppers of recent releases comes another new fabrication: a ballistic mesh-like makeup.
The shiny new upper goes hard in gunmetal grey, supported by glistening leather overlays at the lacestay and heel, while tonal taping, sole units, and tongue lock the silhouette down in dark grey. Jet black Swooshes and heel clips add a slight hit of contrast, but that role is championed by the vivid pops of Hyper Crimson on the eyelets and heel pulls.
With pairs already available overseas, you can expect this Gunmetal Grey React Element 55 to hit Nike.com US and other select Swoosh stockists very soon for the standard MSRP of $130.
