ACG-Styled React Element 87s Arrive on April 27th

React is back!

We haven’t heard much from the Nate Jobe-designed Nike React Element 87 this year. After an explosive debut in 2018 and a handful of early drops in 2019, it’s been eerily quiet on the 87 front. With the take-down 55 model pushing ahead in leaps and bounds, we wondered if we were going to see more from the sneaker that many outlets put at the top of their Best Sneakers of 2018 list — us included. But, with a duo set to hit retailers next month, and this fresh new pair surfacing this week, it’s safe to say that the React is back, for Spring at least.

This new take on the silhouette rocks its signature translucent shell, this time sporting a green tint on the medial panels. Earthy brown overlays sit atop a single layer of deep green around the laces, and again on the heels and toes. Vibrant hits of Orange adorn the laces and exposed stitching, with equally bold Yellow Swooshes sitting pretty at the lateral midfoot and medial toe. Completing the ACG-styled pairing is reflective orange laces and an orange and green-plugged white React sole unit.
