Nike's Plush Vomero Premium Gets a Realtree Edge® Makeover

Nike Running has a hit on its hands (feet?) with numerous new proposals from the last 10 months, but the Vomero Premium may go down as the most beloved of the bunch thanks to its ultra-plush ride and variety of color schemes.

Recently, the ZoomX foam and Air Zoom-donning silhouette emerged in a stealthy "Black/Dark Smoke Grey/Anthracite/Metallic Dark Grey" makeover. On paper, this medley of tones may not seem different from other seasonal offerings from the Swoosh, but even a quick glance at the pair's official photos reveals one major differentiator: Realtree Edge® camouflage patterns across the midsole.

Touted as the hunting manufacturer's most effective camo option at all distances, Realtree Edge® takes on different outdoor scenes to help hide the human form. The Vomero Premium's breathable and cushioned upper doesn't go with any woodland scene, but the midsole indulges in a mostly blackish-grey makeover ready to fit in with a run off the beaten path. Visible Air Zoom units opt for a pitch-"Black" finish that helps with the stealthy aesthetic.
