Taking a break from collaborative colorways, the Nike SB Dunk High will resume its in-line schedule with an intriguing offering — but it’s materials mix-up is only half of its story.
Anchored in black canvas twill, the pair’s stark upper is met by ashy “Mineral Slate” suede overlays and striking white Swooshes, all of which, when worked together, give a relaxed, worn-in aesthetic. It rests atop a simple white and black sole unit and comes complete with new Zoom Air branded insoles. It’s this, plus the inability to find any further information from retailers, that make SB aficionado NikeSBornothing suggest that these may well be merely a sample that has found its way into the Nike photography studio. Of course, it may even be an overseas or Nike online exclusive, too.
Though its details remain uncertain, we can say for sure that both its color way and story are captivating.
