Returning in the back-end of 2020, the OG Nike Dunk High “Goldenrod” was seemingly a catalyst for a slew of follow-on colorways. With upcoming options like the Air Jordan 4 “Lightning”and Air Jordan 1 “Pollen”— along with a few Mids and Lows, too — it seems that the theme is in vogue. Now it’s Nike SB’s turn to tackle the two-tone arrangement, pressing the SB Dunk High in Reverse Goldenrod duds.
Though inherently similar to the aforementioned OG, there are a handful of subtle tweaks for the skate-specific release. Obviously, as the title suggests, the upper’s color blocking is flipped, but there’s also material change from smooth leathers to soft suedes. There’s also the standard tweaks, including mesh tongues, lower-profile sole unit, and Zoom Air cushioning that makes this release stand alone from any of the original ’85 line.
