Though the Nike SB Dunk Low has been busy with a slew of collaborative drops, the Swoosh’s skate division hasn’t forgotten about the silhouette’s general release schedule, with a handful of new options popping up left, right, and center. The next to do so is this mismatched arrangement that unmistakably pays tribute to one of the world’s greatest football clubs; a release titled the Nike SB Dunk Low “Barcelona”
The pair is quite obviously thanks to its mix of blue, maroon, and golden yellow — a kit made famous in recent times by Lionel Messi. Though it’s seen here in a mismatched arrangement, the pair does share some consistencies between the left and right shoe. Both feature clean white midsoles and gum rubber outsole, while the pair’s branding (Swoosh, tongue, and heel) all arrive in a vibrant yellow hue. Blocking is unique, with the entire toe, tongue, eyestay, and heel overlay dedicated to one color, while the mid panel, quarter, and liner link to its opposing hue. On the right shoe, you’ll find blue at the forefoot and maroon in the rear, while the left foot arrives in a complete inversion.
