Throughout the 2010’s, Nike SB experimented with a handful of Nike SB Dunk Lows inspired by the legendary Air Jordan 11, though only the “Concord”and “Space Jam” made it to retail. As part of that process, though, the SB division experimented with a colorway first made famous by the Air Jordan 11 Low, with a sample Nike SB Dunk Low. “Cherry” appeared from the archives earlier this week via @sbcollector.
Produced in 2015, the pair undoubtedly took inspiration from the Air Jordan 11 Low of the same name and not the Mid-top we saw this past holiday season. Like both of those pairs, this sample boasts a white ballistic mesh upper, with overlays of striking Cherry Red patent leather, and Swooshes of smooth white leather to replicate the pair’s quarter panel. Lastly, a classic white midsole and icy rubber outsole round out the design.
Grab a detailed look at the pair below, and if you’re looking for some more obtainable SB Dunk Lows from that era, then check out StockX’s range here.
