It looks like Nike SB will once again be joining in on the festivities of late October, with a special-edition release for Halloween. Joining the OG-built option for later this year is this Nike SB Dunk Low “Mummy” — and it true Nike SB style, it goes above and beyond for its theme.

Uppers wrapped in distressed, aged-look canvas come complete with cross-over stitching to mimic a mummified finish — it even features an embroidered scarab at the forefoot. With the textile falling away at the heels, the rear reveals a peering set of eyes, an oft-used in cartoon depictions of the beings. Light blue suede Swooshes rest at the midfoot, with the hue showing some subtle reappearance along the edging of the aforementioned overlays. Underfoot you’ll find a full glow-in-the-dark sole unit — but the details don’t stop there. Insoles depict a bevy of toilet rolls — the go-to material for Halloween Mummy costumes — and even feature “EEK!” and scarab beetle motifs under the Zoom Air insoles — talk about detail!

Though touted as just a sample pair at this stage, it would be criminal for these not to release. If they do, you’d expect to see pairs land at select skate shops and Nike.com in October.
