The new Nike SB Dunk Low "Tourmaline" just appeared. Initially believed to be part of the Swoosh's Lunar New Year collection, the pair's been confirmed as one of the brand's offerings for Black History Month 2025.

First glimpsed by The Sole Sorcerer, the "Tourmaline" edition features a lightly-sueded leather upper in a striking Tourmaline green, accented with thick orange trim for a bold pop of color. The look is complemented by a black Swoosh and collar, creating a balanced contrast. The golden-yellow satin liners add a touch of luxury, while the thick rope laces provide durability and style. The outsole also delivers a festive twist with a mix of green and red underfoot, contributing to the shoe's commemorative vibe.

The most intriguing detail is the intricate embroidery pattern surrounding the heel, a detail reminiscent of western wear. The pair's inclusion in BHM festivities suggests the Oregon-based institution will touch on the oft-overlooked history of Black cowboys, a theme that's recently been explored by Pharrell Williams' work at Louis Vuitton and Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter album.
