The OG White and Black Patent Leather sneakers made famous by a UNC Alumni and NBA Legend will be returning in 2020 — and no, we’re not talking about the Concord 11s. In fact, we’re talking about Vince Carter’s Nike Shox BB4s (below) that he used to ball out in back at the turn of the century.
Vince’s pair was slightly tilted towards purple concord for his time at the Raptors, but the retail Royal pair was worn by then-Memphis guard Jason “White Chocolate” Williams.
It returns true to 2001’s OG retail release, rocking smooth white leathers, shiny black patent leather, and royal accents throughout, along with its signature matte silver heel counter and four-pronged Shox system in the rear.
Drop details for the OG’s return are still a little hazy at this stage, but we are expecting pairs to roll out on FootLocker.com in the coming weeks. Keep your eyes glued to our dedicated Nike Release Dates Calendar, as well as our Twitter Feed for further developments.
