Nike’s Shox line continues to hold its place in the current rotation, moving between retro tech nostalgia, fashion-led styling, and more direct sport storytelling. Most recently, the silhouette was folded into Nike’s Brazil football push with an official CBF-linked Shox R4, and now the model is shifting into a more graphic lane with this upcoming “Fishnet” finish.
The Nike Shox R4 “Fishnet” keeps the silhouette’s early-2000s energy intact, but covers the upper in a dense black-and-white pattern that reads somewhere between fishnet, motion lines, and optical print. The effect gives the streamlined runner a much sharper look, wrapping the toe, side panels, and heel in a continuous graphic treatment.
Black laces, a black tongue, and matching lining help ground the busy upper, while hits of red bring the pair back to classic Shox territory. The small forefoot Swoosh, tongue branding, heel detail, and rear plate all appear in red, adding a clean contrast against the monochrome base. Underfoot, the familiar Shox columns return in black, set atop a red support plate, one of the pair’s strongest visual details.

It is another reminder that the Shox R4 still has plenty of room to move. Whether tied to Brazil football, women’s styling, or louder lifestyle colorways like this, the model continues to feel right at home in Nike’s current retro-tech lane.
A release date for the Nike Shox R4 “Fishnet” has not yet been confirmed, so stay tuned for updates.
