Green Goblin Would Approve of the Nike Shox Ride 2 "Olive Flak"

Nike Sportswear's revival of the Shox franchise continues with a compelling "Olive Flak" makeover of the Ride 2.

A product of the early 2000s, the Shox Ride 2 has stepped in and out of the spotlight throughout the last 25 years. One of its biggest looks arrived in 2022 by way of a Supreme collaboration. Since then, the dual-cushioned silhouette has gradually (and quietly) built up a sizable roster of inline offerings, blending retro aesthetics with all-new color palettes.

For its latest take, the Air and Shox-donning silhouette has taken on a metallic dark green ensemble. The style bears semblance to the "Metallic Gold" Flightposite last seen October 2024. The sneaker was famously used as the base for Green Goblin's costume as portrayed by Willem Dafoe in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man (2002).
