Nike and Skims are officially stepping into the footwear space together, with the upcoming release of the Nike x Skims Air Rift. Marking the first sneaker collaboration between the two brands, the collection reintroduces the split-toe runner in eight new styles designed in Skims’ signature minimalist aesthetic.

Set to release in Spring 2026, the Nike x Skims Air Rift collection will include four mesh-based pairs and four satin-clad options, per SoleRetriever. While official looks have yet to be confirmed, the range is expected to include both neutral earth tones and elevated statement finishes — a balance of performance and lifestyle that reflects Skims’ growing presence in the sportwear category.
Originally released in 1996, the Air Rift was Nike’s first sneaker to feature a natural motion split-toe design inspired by Kenyan barefoot running. With the Skims makeover, the model receives a modern refresh while keeping its bold DNA intact. Expect subtle Skims branding and reworked materials across the pack.
The Nike x Skims Air Rift collection will release in Spring 2026 via Skims.com, Nike SNKRS, and select retailers. Pricing details and individual color previews are expected to follow in the coming months.
