Nike Space Hippie 01 “Carbon Green” is Coming Soon

Mostly constructed from recycled materials, one could come to understand that there may be some delays for Nike’s Space Hippie linagedue to supply. For the Nike Space Hippie 01, it seemed that there was nothing slowing it down in 2020 until it halted in August, which was the last time we saw the silhouette. Now, half a year later, the silhouette has reappeared in a handful of new colorways, including this aptly-titled “Carbon Green” offering.

The upper’s weave, though mostly dyed in the titular green hue, sports subtle interwoven flecks of white and tonal greens throughout, giving the pair a mossy/earthy feel. Midfoot Swoosh sticks to a staple white thread, before bold pops of Electric Green can be seen on the lacestays, and pulls. LAces themselves opt for a green-white fleck, while the latter reappears again on the heel pull and tongue branding, before burnt orange, almost copper-colored laces add some warmth to the release. The pair is then completed by a simple off-white Crater Foam sole unit beneath.
