The 01 and 04 have carried the brunt of Nike’s Space Hippie efforts for the past 6 months, with the silhouettes’ recurrence vastly outweighing that of the other two models. Perhaps that’s an issue with material supply, as the pairs are created mostly from recycled parts, or perhaps even a marketing decision by the head honchos at HQ. Either way, if they keep dropping bangers like this Nike Space Hippie 01 “Electric Green”, then who cares? As long as the flow doesn’t stop.
Its upper appears in a simple beige-grey weave, while the titular hue only plays a slight role on the stitched Swoosh and laces. It countered by bold black pulls and eyestay strips, both of which are accented in red, while a tonal cream Crater Foam sole unit sits beneath to complete the design.
