Sophomore Nike Space Hippie “Grey/Volt” Collection Drops July 16
Unveiled back in February alongside the Swoosh’s plans for the now-postponed Tokyo Olympics, the Nike Space Hippie initiative is carrying the torch for the brand’s focus on future sustainability. And while we’ll have to wait until next year for the Summer Games, we won’t have to hang around much longer for the release of the recycled pack of self-labeled “Trash” sneakers, with the debut collection touching down on July 3rd. But if you do happen to luck-out tomorrow on the first five pairs, you won’t have to wait much longer for a second chance at securing a W, with the sophomore Grey/Volt collection trailing its release just two weeks later on July 16th. Official imagery for the follow-up collection has just arrived, this time featuring three Grey and Volt colored options of the Space Hippie 01, 02, and 03 — the 04 in this colorway was moved up with the first release. This time around we’re receiving pairs with whiter Crater sole units, lighter woven uppers, less-vibrant use of color, and jet-black accents throughout.
Grab a look at the sophomore Grey/Volt Nike Space Hippie range below, which drops right here on Nike SNKRS for prices ranging from $130-$180.
In other sustainable news, a suspected Earth-friendly Nike SB Dunk has appeared in multi-colored canvas.
