The return of the Nike Terminator in 2022 will touch on OG re-runs and collaborative efforts with Comme des Garçons, but it is also expected to arrive in a slew of new colorways, including this recently-surfaced effort, the Nike Terminator High “Velvet Brown”

Ditching the model’s heritage in more ways than one, this release looks to an atypical canvas construction, whilst the hues used — Black, Velvet Brown, and Baroque Brown — are a far cry from the original college-inspired colorways. Here, its black upper hosts overlays of tumbled brown leather that barely break contrast. The same can be said for the tongues and laces, heel overlays, and branding — in fact, the only big break in character comes from the bold white midsole sitting underfoot.

Though a release date for the return is not yet concrete, you should expect to see pairs of the Nike Terminator High “Velvet Brown” arrive at select retailers soon.
