The Sharp-Toothed VaporMax Gliese Surfaces in Simple Black and White

Heavily inspired by Nike’s wild retro DT Max 96, the Nike Gliese is nothing short of absurd. Its aggressive overlays paired with patterns on the underlay is anything but subtle, while its bare Air Unit adds to the silhouette’s antics. The debut Gliese arrived in a not-so-subtle Gold, but the next offering attempts to tone it down a little, opting for a predominately black colorway mixed with hints of white.

Starting with an all-black base, the sophomore offering shows scattered pops of contrasting white on the jagged mesh underlays, Swoosh and other branding hits, and its string laces. Considering the popularity of the aforementioned DT, we’ll likely see Nikepour in plenty of effort to this silhouette, but only time will tell how the market receives it.
