Nike’s Vomero 5 continues to sit comfortably between running heritage and everyday wear, with the early-2010s silhouette proving one of the brand’s most reliable lifestyle models.

The latest pair keeps that balance intact, arriving in a new “Black & Cucumber Calm” colorway that pairs a dark technical upper with one of the model’s brighter sole treatments.

The upper leans heavily into black, covering the mesh base, laces, tongue, lining, and ribbed side cage. That dark foundation is broken up by chrome-finished overlays across the forefoot, eyestays, Swoosh, and heel, giving the pair a more reflective finish without moving too far from the Vomero 5’s usual running-inspired setup.

Underfoot, the pair shifts into “Cucumber Calm,” with the soft green shade covering the midsole and most of the outsole. The color gives the shoe a lighter feel while still keeping the upper sharp and tech-focused. Small green hits also appear near the toe and forefoot, tying the sole unit back into the rest of the design.

As usual, the Vomero 5 retains its layered construction, exposed heel cage, Cushlon midsole, and Nike Zoom Air cushioning setup, keeping the model rooted in comfort even as Nike continues to push it as a lifestyle staple.

At this stage, a release date for the Nike Vomero 5 “Black & Cucumber Calm” has not yet been confirmed. Pairs are expected to arrive via Nike.com and select retailers in the coming months.
