The Nike Vomero series has always been synonymous with plush cushioning, and with the introduction of the new Vomero Premium, Nike is taking that legacy into the future. Set to release in Holiday 2025, the Nike Vomero Premium “Black/Volt” highlights just how far the line has evolved in nearly two decades.

The “Black/Volt” edition arrives in a stealthy black base, with engineered mesh uppers that reveal oversized “RUN” graphics across the midfoot. Volt accents burst through the exposed Air Zoom units underfoot, providing both visual energy and responsive cushioning. Reflective details and premium construction finish the look, balancing performance and style.

Under the hood, the Vomero Premium shares much of the technology that made the Alphafly a record-breaking racer, with ZoomX foam paired with full-length Air Zoom cushioning. The result is a max-cushion ride designed to handle long training runs while enhancing recovery before the workout is even over. Nike’s decision to stack the midsole higher than 40 millimeters makes this one of the brand’s most cushioned models to date.

Nike athletes like Faith Kipyegon have already adopted the Vomero Premium for training, with its comfort-first approach appealing to runners of all levels. While the Vomero 18 remains a staple for everyday mileage, the Premium introduces a more luxurious option that feels equally suited for the track or the street.
