The Nike x Patta Running Team Collection Releases May 2nd

Nike has once again teamed up with the Dutch streetwear giant Patta to launch the Patta Running Team collection, a fusion of athletic innovation and street culture that encourages runners of every stripe to claim their place in the running world. Set to release online and in Patta stores on April 26, and on SNKRS and in select Nike partner stores on May 2, this collaboration is more than just apparel and footwear—it's a celebration of running as a powerful community binder.

"Patta Running Team was born from a desire to connect with like-minded individuals around the world through the universal language of running," explains Patta cofounder Edson Sabajo. Since its inception in Amsterdam in 2010, the Patta Running Team has been about more than just athletics. "It’s about discovering new places, forging new connections, and embracing freedom. Running transcends borders. Because when you run, your mind and spirit are set free to think and dream."

The collection features several standout pieces, including leggings crafted from a unique lenticular three-color material and a heavyweight varsity jacket made of wool and leather, adorned with patches that celebrate the achievements and dedication of the Patta Running Team. The lineup also includes track and race suits, tops, shorts, and a running vest.

A highlight of the collaboration is the updated Air Huarache hybrid sneaker, available in three colorways. This sneaker merges the classic Huarache Plus upper with a Pegasus sole, enhanced with premium leather overlays and a mesh underlay with a bootie construction. The design is completed with a nylon webbing closure, while the tongue features a distinctive “Patta Air” graphic.

Each pair of sneakers comes with a custom Patta towel, reinforcing the collection's exclusive feel. Reflective graphics and the Patta Panther running mascot are prominent throughout the range, symbolizing the dynamic spirit of the collaboration.
