The Nike Zoom Double Stacked Debuts in “Barely Volt” on July 2nd
Having surfaced around social for months now, the previously-untitled double-stacked Zoom Air silhouette from Nike has been one of the most anticipated new sneakers of the year. As it turns out, the sneaker is actually named the Nike Zoom Double Stacked, and it’s finally set to debut next month.
A single layer of Zoom Air makes for one of the cushiest rides around. But a double-stack of Zoom with a foam sock liner is comfort on a level that’s unbelievable. The design philosophy of the Double Stacked is about comfort informing style, with exposed layers of Zoom cushioning in the heel and forefoot, an unfinished TPU Swoosh, and deco stitching on a breathable mesh upper giving a modern DIY vibe to this debut Barely Volt colorway.
