The Nike Zoom Freak 2 “White Cement” Arrives October 1st
Though claimed to be inspired by the four-mile concrete trek that Giannis Antetokounmpo would make as a youth from his Sepolia neighborhood in Athens to the gym for practice, the Nike Zoom Freak 2 “White Cement” bears an uncanny resemblance to the Air Jordan 4 of the same name. Sporting like-white uppers, black-flecked cement midsoles, and striking black and red contrasting accents, its a connection that sneakerheads can’t help but make — especially when it served up with the same WC title.
There are a few notable tweaks, though, with icy blue forefoot plastics and a marbleized rubber outsole giving the retro colorway a new flex, but not enough to distinguish it as something new. If you’re looking to grab a pair then they’ll be available from October 1st at select retaielrs and Nike.com for $130 a pop. Official images have arrived here below, so take a look before heading g over to our dedicated Nike page for all things that go Swoosh.
