Bean bringing back the heat.
Nike‘s retrospective Kobe line continues with the Four, and next up they’re bringing the heat — both literally and figuratively. — with the return of the Nike Kobe 4 “Del Sol.”
Translating to “of the Sun,” the hotter-than-hell Nike Kobe 4 “Del Sol” originally released back in 2009, dressed in a staple Kobe color palate of White, Black, and Del Sol Yellow. The back-to-basics combo only truly comes to life thanks to its midfoot detail, quilted collar, and mind-boggling laces — all simple additions to the basic black and white colorway, yet oh-so-effective.
Look for the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 Protro “Del Sol” to release on May 24th at select Swoosh stockists, and directly from Nike.com, for $175. Until then, take in an official look at the pair below, followed by a recent on-foot shot via Isiah Thomas, and an original Kobe on-foot from the Laker’s 2010 Finals parade (peep Derek Fisher’s boot-cut jeans tho 😂)
