'Team Red/Glacier Blue' Share this Nike Vomero 5

The Nike Vomero 5 is a decade removed from its time as the Swoosh's go-to trainer for heavy mileage. Over the last two years, the model has exploded in popularity – in particular amongst women – for its retro aesthetic and top-notch comfort.

As Nike Running continues to reimagine the Vomero series for today's athlete, the brand's Sportswear branch keeps breathing new life into the Vomero 5, outfitting it in materials and color schemes that further cement it as a fashionable footwear option. Ahead of spring, the Cushlon-cushioned sneaker has emerged in a peculiar, but eye-catching 'Armory Navy/Team Red/Glacier Blue' color combination.

The model keeps its running-informed construction, with 'Glacier Blue' animating most of the mesh base and synthetic overlays. A darker 'Armory Navy' (which has appeared on the Nike Dunk before) interrupts the icy makeup along the profiles and inner lining, while also taking on the midsole. A wine-reminiscent shade of red fills in the gaps, helping creating a refreshing look atop the retro runner.
