Nike Preps A Women's Vomero 5 in Cool 'Blue Tint'

The Nike Vomero 5 is the gift that keeps on giving.

Originally designed as the brand's marquee running sneaker for high mileage, the Vomero 5 has become one of the Swoosh's most popular retro styles. Its combination of cool colorways and top-notch comfort have made it a go-to option amongst women. As such, Nike has outfitted the sneaker in ensembles that distance it from its running origins. The latest arrives in the form of a 'Blue Tint' makeover.

The icy hue has previously taken over Nike Running's 15-year-old design, but it's most recently landed on the Dunk Low and Shox R4. In comparison to other Nike Sportswear offerings, however, the latest Vomero 5 enjoys a near-uniform 'Blue Tint' look. Everything from the breathable mesh base to the Cushlon sole unit appears in a light blue that'll surely draw attention whenever worn. Profile swooshes, inner lining, and traction underfoot deviate from the icy finish, but don't detract from its compelling presentation.
