In the late 2010s, Nike embraced a wave of deconstructed design, a trend that intersected well with Japan’s Sashiko influence — a hand-stitched technique that’s quietly reappeared in footwear over the past few years. With Fall 2025 on the horizon, Nike looks to revive that intersection with a new lifestyle collection centered around earthy tones, reconstructed textiles, and subtle contrast hits, headlined by the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 "Pale Ivory."
This iteration delivers an organic palette, blending off-white mesh and tumbled leather with tan suede overlays. Textured panels nod to Sashiko’s woven aesthetic, while deconstructed stitching and edge treatments add a crafted feel. A single orange accent on the lace lock breaks up the neutral layers, echoed below by a deep orange hit in the midfoot shank. Molded heel clips and layered quarter panels retain the shoe’s technical DNA, while muted sole units complete the understated look.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 "Pale Ivory" will be joined by an Air Max 90 and more styles from Nike Sportswear’s upcoming pack. No release date has been confirmed yet, but the full capsule is expected to arrive on Nike.com later this Fall.
