Nike Sportswear continues to repackaging retro performance product in stylish makeovers ripe for fashion purposes. The latest Vomero 5, a running model from 2011, appears in a 'Pink Foam' refresh launching exclusively in Women's sizing.
While a unisex design, Nike Running's 14-year-old design has become particularly popular amongst women over the last two years, leading the Swoosh to utilize materials and color schemes often associated with this segment of the market. The latest offering to surface features a spring-appropriate pink across its breathable mesh base, laces, and tried-and-proven outsole. Overlays and Cushlon foam midsoles deviate in shades of a light cream color called 'Phantom,' as well as hits of pitch-dark 'Black' contrast. The stability clip at the heel introduces a 'Metallic Platinum' that harkens back to the runner's origins in the same way the reflective strips throughout the upper do.
Together, every aforementioned component helps cement the comfortable silhouette as a go-to option within the lifestyle space.
