With the Nike Dunk’s origin story ankle-deep in college sports, it’s no surprise that the silhouette — High and Low — has been forever revisiting athletic themes in it’s neat four-decade-long run of releases. More recently, the brand has embellished the Dunk Low with a handful of college-specific colorways from Florida A&M to CAU Athletics. The next? This Nike Dunk Low “North Carolina A&T”

No, not the North Carolina made famous by Mike, but the agricultural and technical university to its northwest.

The mostly white and grey release looks to accents of black and Aggie Blue, at the Swoosh and rear, along with striking yellow at the tongue, and laces that read AYANTEE text referring to the Historically Black College’s yearbook. The school’s logo replaces traditional “NIKE” branding on the top of the tongue, while Air Jordan 1-like outsoles are reworked to deliver a semi-translucent finish revealing a green graphic.
