OBJ’s “What The” Cleats to Release Ahead of Tomorrow’s Thursday Night Football
One of football’s flashiest sneakerheads, OBJhas been collecting kicks for years. All-year long it’s been evident in his sneaker-inspired PE cleats that he has a few favorites from his collection. Now, Nike is set to release a special “What The” OBJ Cleat, the Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 Carbon OBJ, that arrives with removable patches inspired by some of Odell’s favorite Swooshed sneakers.
The white-based sneaker pops with iridescent cleated soles and big, bold Shoebox Orange Swooshes at the toe — a base that won’t get you thrown out of the game or forced to change cleats. But for that training flex (or for leagues that are hella more relaxed) the pair’s Velcro panels arrive sporting prints, patterns, and motifs seen on sneakers from Nike’s past. Completing the design is special-edition packaging, along with three sets of laces.
Nike has now confirmed that OBJ’s “What The” Nike cleats will release tomorrow, November 14th, ahead of the Cleveland Browns Thursday Night Football matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Release times haven’t been specified, but you can find them here on Nike.com with a “Coming Soon” listing — so be sure to head through that link to set yourself a notification from Nike.
