It appears that Virgil Abloh left more than a handful of footwear collaborations for the world after his untimely passing late last year, with several Air Jordan 2 Lows, an entire collection of Air Force 1s with Louis Vuitton, and two Air Jordan 1 Mids releasing posthumously. Now a another can be added to that list, with this OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Graffiti” coming to light.
Though the pair continues the design overhaul seen in the recent white and black releases, including spiked sole units, dual lacing systems, and warped Air units, it differs through its material delivery. Here, like the recently-revealed option in Pine Green, it’s smooth leathers that dress the pair — not woven textile – whilst it also reverts to classic leather straps, and heritage-aligned eye stays. Heel clips are removed in favor of a more traditional leather rear-end, while the multi-colored spike underfoot returns to a simple solid color. Its white-on-white base is then dressed with a decorative OFF-WHITE graffiti piece on the sidewall — a finish similarly seen on one of Virgil’s Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1s.
