Two New Colorways of the OFF-WHITE x Nike Waffle Racer Emerge

Wrapped up.

Virgil Abloh’s newest “Athlete in Progress” collection may just be his most aggressive collaborative effort yet, with the previously revealed Terra Kiger 5sporting some dramatic updates, most notably the accentuated track-spiked soles. And now thanks to Twitter’s @PYLeaks, we get our first looks at the equally-audacious OFF-WHITE x Nike Waffle Racer in two colorways; a “Ghost”-like white and tan, and a vibrant black and pink. Each pair arrives with Virgil’s signature stylings; vibrant colorful accents, re-constructed toolings and — of course — zip tie finishes. In a new Abloh twist, both pairs adorn overlaid translucent mesh covers that wrap the entire uppers, including its overlays, which one would think many will likely remove to expose Virgil’s handiwork underneath.
