Taking her partnership with Nike a notch higher, the acclaimed dancer and choreographer Parris Goebel is gearing up to launch her very own Nike Dunk Low.
Already making waves with her captivating choreography for Rihanna at Super Bowl LVII, this 31-year-old creative powerhouse now channels her artistic brilliance into sneaker design.
Reimagining Peter Moore's iconic 1985 silhouette, the Parris Goebel x Nike Dunk Low is an enthralling blend of aesthetics. The palette, featuring vibrant hues of pink, bronze, and green, imbues the shoe with a unique character that's both playful and chic. The profile swooshes and overlays across the upper sport-shimmering finishes, enhancing the sneaker's visual appeal.
More than it's palette, it's the distinctive branding details that set the Parris Goebel x Nike Dunk Low further apart; The logos on the tongue and spine flaunt an upside-down arrangement, offering a fresh take on conventional design norms. The sock liners forgo the usual Nike branding, instead showcasing Goebel’s logo, a subtle nod to her individual style and creativity. Capping off the design are golden lace dubraes, lending an air of luxury to this reinterpretation of the classic performance model.
The Parris Goebel x Nike Dunk Low has an expected Nike.com release date of October 24th and retails at $125.
