Nike SB’s Prizefighter Paul Rodriguez Celebrates 15-Year Tenure with Special “Boxing Glove” Dunk High

Affectionately known as P-Rod, Paul Rodriguez has been serving up some of Nike SB’s finest highlights for fifteen years. So to celebrate the skating stalwart’s long service, the Swoosh Brand’s skateboarding subdivision is serving up a special Nike SB Dunk High that’s inspired by his Mexican heritage and his love of boxing. The pair presents P-Rod as a prized fighter, with boxing trunk tag-styled tongue branding and Championship belt-like dubraes, while special graphic insoles depict wrapped hands. On the exterior, the shout out to Paul’s heritage is obvious, with Mexico’s national colors the only present. Finally, cementing down the boxing theme is piped edging, the same finish found on the velcro wrist straps of a fresh set of 18 oz Everlast’s.
