Serving the Los Angeles skate scene for over a decade, Anthony Piscopo’s Pawnshop Skate is as real as a local store gets. Suffering a store fire back in 2020, the retailer was shown overwhelming support from its long-time customers to get back on their feet quickly. Now Nike SB will help escalate them to greater heights, as they’ve offered the Downtown LA retailer their very own Nike SB Dunk High.
Premium tooling is on full display here, as buttery brown leathers and metallic gold trimming borderline a classic brown dress shoe. Uppers of blackened-brown work with slightly lighter chocolate hues at the toe and Swoosh, with soft fawn suedes lining the release. Golden wing embroidery and the ankle works in unison with contrast-stitched Swooshes and heels, with co-branded tongue tags and a solitary eyestay of metallic gold finishes adding extra elegance. The pair is then completed by co-branded insoles, and a simple white and black sole unit, complete with contrast stitching.
