Nike’s cult-favorite split-toe runner is stepping back onto the stage with poise, this time channeling the refined grace of ballet-core aesthetics. The upcoming Nike Air Rift “Pearl White” takes the barefoot-inspired 1996 design into daintier territory, leaning heavily into the stylings of satin slippers and stage-ready details.
The silhouette arrives in a soft, pearlescent finish, blending mesh and satin-like materials across the upper. Two mini bows on the forefoot bring overt references to ballet shoes, while gold-accented double straps and leather trim elevate the look with refined femininity. Subtle Swoosh embroidery, a neutral-toned midsole, and tonal Air branding maintain the model’s unique shape without disrupting its delicate, dancewear-inspired execution.
Over the past two years, the Air Rift has slowly crept back into the mainstream, thanks in part to its comfort-focused design and niche appeal. The “Pearl White” edition marks a clear nod to trend-forward styling, tapping directly into the broader rise of ballet-core across fashion and footwear.
Expect the Nike Air Rift “Pearl White” to release in Fall 2025 via Nike.com and select retailers.
