The Nike Air Force 1 is having an absolute ripper start to 2021. From holiday-honoring efforts for Valentine’s and St. Patrick’sDays to whimsical themed drops like the “Popcorn”and bodega bag-inspired “Rose” releases, the silhouette has been on a big wave of creativity to start the new year. Continuing that trend is this Nike Air Force 1 Low “Spades” which borrows its thematic from the humble play card.

Sporting a sleek black leather base, the pair boasts a bevy of intricate overlays in traditional themes. Paisley prints are debossed into the toe overlays and quarter panels, and also edge their way onto the spade-laden AF1 tongue tags. Matte metallic gold works from the tongue to the Swoosh and rear overlays and also hit mismatch lateral ankle embroidery fit for a King and Queen. Accents at the liner, outsole, and midsole detail indulge in a regal red to complete the playing card thematic.

A release date for the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Spades” has not yet been confirmed, but with its official imagery having already been loaded on Nike servers, you should expect to see pairs rolling out at select Swoosh stockists soon.
