Before blogs were big, Quartersnacks was there. The same can’t be said for Nike SB Dunks which, at the time, were at the height of popularity, but to the New York City skate scene, QS25 was on par. As a result, the blog earned their very own Nike SB Dunk collaboration in 2014 and a dup of Blazers in 2018. Now the lifestyle leader is ready to run their third play with the brand in 2021, returning to their inaugural silhouette in a wild way. First looks at the 2021 Quartersnacks x Nike SB Dunk Low show that the imprint hasn’t strayed too far away from their black and white fixations, employing a Zebra print upper and insole combo with color-matched leather overlays, tongues, and sole units. In fact, it appears that the only splash of color comes by-way-of their Nike NYC-inspired QS25 lateral logo and tongue tag, both of which feature flashes of red. Most surprisingly, though, is the pair’s unpadded tongue — a Nike SB Dunk staple — in a move that’s sure to divide the die-hards.

Take a closer look at these yourself right here, and expect to learn more on the Quartersnacks x Nike SB Dunk Low “Zebra Cakes” (said to be inspired by Little Debbie’s Zebra Cakes) over the coming months — and we’ll be sure to keep you posted on our official Twitter account with further developments.
