Nike’s Air Force 1 has always held strong in delivering an abundance of colorways, often experimenting with a plethora of textiles to keep the classic silhouette consistently fresh. It’s also been prevalent in Nike’s overarching “Move to Zero” sustainability project, the latest having appeared as part of an upcoming Recycled Wool pack due to kick off its releases in January. The Air Force 1 “Light Armory Blue” joins a previously-previewed option in White, Black, and Electric Green and it’s matching Air Max 95 and Blazer Mid, all of which feature the same recycled grey yarn against striking white uppers. This pair, though keeping the same material construction, swaps its colors from white and black to baby blue and grey.
Keeping an identical bone sole unit, this pair then takes a light blue hue to the leather upper, with in-cut lateral Swooshes revealing the color-flecked textile. The same fabrication appears again at the tongue, while neutral suedes surface at the medial Swoosh and rear overlays. The subtle pair is then hit with a flash of jet black at the tongue liner, and completed by the recyclable line’s signature Electic Green insoles for easily the pair’s most striking finish.
