After making waves during March Madness, Kentucky standout Reed Sheppard is stepping into summer with a debut sneaker release. Officially titled the Reed Sheppard x Nike Zoom G.T. Cut 3 Turbo, this PE-inspired pair is set to release on July 1st as part of Nike Basketball’s continued push for player-led storytelling.
The shoe arrives in a clean Summit White and Light Arctic Pink colorway, with bold pops of Bright Crimson on the oversized lateral Swoosh and ZoomX midsole insert. The upper is built with a ribbed synthetic shell and textile base, subtly speckled for added texture. Underfoot, the GT Cut 3’s hallmark performance tech remains intact, including ZoomX foam for energy return and a durable, grippy outsole built for elite guard play.
At the heel, “REED” is stitched into the foam collar—just above a speckled molded panel—signifying the rising star’s personal imprint on the model. While this marks Sheppard’s first signature-branded sneaker, it’s not the first time the G.T. Cut 3 has been used for player editions, the Robert Dillingham x Nike Zoom G.T. Cut 3 Turbo is also set to release on July 1st.
Expect the Reed Sheppard x Nike Zoom G.T. Cut 3 Turbo to release on July 1st via Nike.com and select retailers.
