Nike is scheduled to release a brand new Air Force 1 Low inspired by the Rubik’s Cube in Fall 2023, as per Complex.

The sneaker will not be an official collaboration with the mind-bending toy. Still, according to an internal Nike document, the pair’s colorful paneling is inspired by the bright sides of the boggling cube. Officially, the pair will be titled the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Stop Playing Around.”

No photos of this upcoming Air Force 1 Low have leaked yet, and the image shown is a mockup based on the proposed design. The shoe will come in with a leather upper, mesh lining, and asymmetrical colors between the medial and lateral sides.

Of course, this is not the first time that Nike has looked to the Cube for inspiration, with a 2009 Nike Blazer borrowing the famous color squares and more recently, an unreleased Air Jordan 1 High OG showcased by Fat Joe
