Empowering young women and trans individuals to become strong, confident leaders who promote and implement equity through the vehicle of skateboarding, the non-profit organization that is Skate Like a Girl will be rewarded for their hard work through a special-edition collaboration with Nike SB.

Expected to raise awareness of the project immensely, the Skate Like a Girl x Nike SB Dunk Low is expected to arrive this fall, exclusively in women’s sizing. A first look at the pair shows simple blocking, but what it lacks in experimentation, it makes up for considerably in material construction. Here, a suede upper of light lilac works with overlays of maroon suede, before a convoy of corduroy comes into play. Swooshes of bright crimson, liners of maroon, and tonal tongues all feature the King’s Cord, the latter featuring special co-branded tongue tags. There’s most cross-branding in the back (and likely the unsighted insoles) all of which rests atop a simple white and gum sole unit to complete the design.
