Sneakersnstuff Unveil Release Info for their 20th Anniversary Nike Tailwind IV

At the same time in Stockholm and in Beaverton, their parallel futures stretched the possibilities. Sneakersnstuff opened its doors and the pinnacle Nike Air Max Tailwind IVwas introduced. The bold new addition to the trailblazing series of Tailwind sneakers, which from the get-go featured groundbreaking technologies like the Air cushioning, fit right into the heart of a transitioning atmosphere. Now, the two big names in sneakers combine for a special SNS x Nike Tailwind IV “20th Anniversary” edition.

The design of the 20th Anniversary Nike Air Max Tailwind IV takes its inspiration from an unreleased prototype colorway of the ’79 Nike Air Tailwind (below) which in its own was a revolutionary silhouette, featuring a futuristic encapsulated Air-Sole technology for the first time in a Nike sneaker. The SNS exclusive Nike Air Max Tailwind IV samples color-bits from the original Tailwind, tying perfectly into the OG’s footsteps.

Built with a promiscuous upper, full of polarity but coherence and balancing the unexpected, the individually numbered Nike Air Max Tailwind IV presented by SNS features a mélange of mesh, nubuck, and suede, sturdy textile, leather and protruded foam. Shiny yellow highlights boast distinctive lettering, unique gold lining and a black midsole with visible Air bubbles that fuse the heritage of the two sneakers.

A release date for the Sneakersnstuff x Nike Air Max Tailwind 4 “20th Anniversary” is set for September 19th, exclusively at SNS via online raffle (which you can sign up for here) as well in-store drops at their Stockholm, Berlin, Paris, London, New York, and Los Angeles locations.
