Tinker Hatfield Returns to the Hardwood With the All-New Nike Zoom Court Dragon

Though he’s widely known for his efforts on the Air Max and Air Jordan lineage, Tinker Hatfield has been just as impactful in other arenas, including ACG, Nike Basketball and Nike Tennis. In fact, Tinker owned the arenas in the 80s and 90s, and still today, for that matter, with the legend returning to the court with a brand new model dubbed the Nike Zoom Court Dragon.

Elements of retro Nike Hoops are evident, with crossover straps inspired by the iconic Air Raid, and a reptilian — almost elephant-like — overlays across the forefoot. There’s further 90s influence across the forefoot and outsole — the latter leaning towards something seen on the Foamposite. His time designing shoes for Michael Jordan comes into play with a staple black and red colorway, while a more modern approach is applied to the rear end which is kind of Kyrie-like in nature. The pair is then completed by Tinker-signed tongue tags.
