If one thing has been consistent in the Lebron signature lineage over the past decade, its variety. This season alone has seen a slew of releases along the color wheel, from the monochrome “Oreo” to the vibrant “Mr. Swackhammer” and everything in between. And staying true to Nike Hoops heritage, we’re receiving a “What The” LeBron 17 mash-up that slides towards the more saturated end of the spectrum.

Taking elements from an array of previously-released pairs, first looks at the pair show a colorful concoction that includes the aforementioned Swackhammer toe on the right shoe, “More than an Athlete” on the left tongue, “Red Carpet on the right tongue, and a myriad of other elements that would require hours decoding. There’s even callouts to the LeBron 17 Low by-way-of the forefoot mini Swooshes.
