The postponement of the Tokyo Olympics has certainly felt all the more obvious thanks to its lasting impression on the Summer’s city-and game-themed releases that continue to pour out of the big footwear brands. The releases are a crude reminder of the current state of the world, but often — due to the colorful nature of both the Olympics and the City of Tokyo — bring some vibrant color and enthusiasm to a world that’s in turmoil. This Air Max 95 “Tokyo” does just that, arriving with quirky Tokyo charms across a link chain, holographic tongue badges, and colorful flecked midsoles.
